Inverurie Music Award Scheme 2025

The Inverurie Music ran for its seventh year in 2025, opening in the autumn of 2025 and attracting 25 applicants. We were delighted that everyone who applied received an award.

A total of £2,225 was allocated to the young musicians who applied for funding for various musical activities. For example, towards buying instruments such as a guitar, a viola, a tuba and bagpipes. Requests were also made for funding for instrument repairs and accessories, for exam fees and music books and for recording equipment and studio time.

The award scheme runs solely from donations and fundraising and we are extremely grateful for all the generous donation received.

Four schools take part in the Award Scheme - Alford, Inverurie, Kemnay and Meldrum Academies.
